The state of /r/btc & Bitcoin Cash - easily explained with a post they made

I thought to try and explain to people how it is clear that /btc no longer serves any purpose to actually learn about BTC, BCH, BSV or indeed anything crypto.
You only need to load up this post and look at the first 3 posts, and I've also included a link to what I am talking about here as an image
Let's deep-dive and analyse the post:-
First we can see it was posted over 17 hours ago and has a rating of 0. In fact I just upvoted and saw it's still 0 so post must of been -1 or less. Basically it's a post that has been heavily downvoted. Hardly a good start to encourage visibility and thus discussion of the subject at hand.
So let's move on to the subject:-
From a technical perspective, how is BSV on the wrong track?
Interesting, the subject pleads for a technical argument, and appears to be in favour of BSV.
Let's analyse the post contents:-
I think BSV is on the wrong track because of their stated rule that BSV will scale to the world without ever modifying the protocol. I think this is quite unreasonable and might make problems that would otherwise be easier to solve, more complicated to solve.
Oh. So the post is actually NEGATIVE towards BSV, but the subject merely mentioning BSV was enough to make many (I suspect) downvote without even reading, and if such things exist it was quickly added to a queue of posts for the bots to downvote as must not encourage non-personality (i.e. tech) level discussion on /btc!
It seems clear that the poster has a weak argument, however simply upvoting this post and agreeing with them in the comments would of been the best way to "attack BSV" and "make BCH look better" if this is the goal of the subreddit. It clearly isn't providing uncensored information as we shall now see....
I won't explain why the post is wrong, as you'll see that done later. Let's move on to the first reply:-
While Blockstream claims that blocks can't safely exceed 1 MB and that everyone needs to run their own node, BSV does the opposite. They say that blocks can be unlimited size without any software upgrades.
There are limits to practical block size. We (BCH) are working on ways to increase the practical block size. For instance, Graphene helps with propagation of blocks by reducing the amount of information sent for each block by taking advantage of the fact that most miners already have most of the transactions already. They just need to know which ones to include in the next block. CTOR will help with their ordering.
And it isn't just technical stuff that a lot of us hate BSV. They (C.W. & his sugar daddy) tried to do a hostile takeover of BCH.
OK. So the top reply (with +13 up votes) is technically wrong, which means one of 2 things:
1 - the tech level of people left in /btc is around 0. 2 - the honesty of people left in /btc is around 0.
Let's go through the post again, and analyse why it is technically wrong:-
While Blockstream claims that blocks can't safely exceed 1 MB and that everyone needs to run their own node, BSV does the opposite. They say that blocks can be unlimited size without any software upgrades.
As this is a BCash subreddit, users should know that Blockstream's arguments regarding scale are pretty irrelevant or should be on a subreddit that was once dedicated to "big block Bitcoin". This is a warning sign.
However the next part regarding "without any software upgrades" clearly demonstrates the posters lack of tech knowledge and lack of what "set-in-stone protocol" actually means.
Let's use an analogy I have explained before, imagine the protocol is "must move, must have 4 wheels, must have steering wheel, must have accelerator, must have driver seat". This is the basic protocol of a car, it's not a motorbike which could be considered a alt-transport.
Does the Ford Model T fit this protocol? YES. Does the Lamborghini fit this protocol? YES.
The Lamborghini is simply the software upgrade of the Model T, the protocol remained the same.
Same thing will happen with node software, as the old BCore routines designed for small 1MB blocks are rewritten to account for massive blocks, how the software will be rewritten entirely to run on a cluster of machines (all distributing the workload) until eventually perhaps the very expensive design/fabrication process will be done to etch some of the protocol into silicon for much faster speed/efficiency gains. This could be like comparing the efficiency CPU mining to ASIC mining. Still - THE SAME PROTOCOL.
The post continues with the following:-
There are limits to practical block size.
BCash are working on all these things to apparently scale, without actually scaling (even on testnet). They haven't tried scaling and then reached bottlenecks and had to do these things, they implanted CTOR for example before trying to scale. How is it that BSV can do 1gb+ blocks on STN (Scaling Test Network) and 250MB blocks on live network using the same protocol essential as BCash before they added CTOR at fork time?
Of course even though post was about tech, they can't leave out some form of character attack which I will not address:-
And it isn't just technical stuff that a lot of us hate BSV. They (C.W. & his sugar daddy) tried to do a hostile takeover of BCH.
OK, so finally let's look at the reply to that post:-
No one is saying you can't upgrade software. People are saying the protocol should not keep changing.
Software is there to optimize the protocol.
Adrian-X is basically summarising what I said above regarding the Model-T analogy. It's is truth, it is fact. It's a clear as night and day wether you think it is a bad idea or not it doesn't change the truthfulness of that statement. You can't argue with that statement at all as much as you can't argue that the sky is blue.
So therefor you have to ask why does the post have a -4 rating? Not only that if you have the correct reddit settings or see my screenshot you'll see the little + cross symbol next to the post rating which means comment was heavily upvoted & downvoted. This means there was a lot more then 5 people downvoting it as more than 1 person upvoted it.
This is why /btc as any sort of place for truth or for valid discussion and learning is rated 0 - regardless of it they are truly uncensored, or as we have proven only pretend to be.
The result is the same - you will not learn about Bitcoin there.
